Official Inauguration of Cibèle Residence

|Inauguration

On January 30th, Le Groupe Maurice officially opened Cibèle, its 37th residential complex, located in Saint-Hyacinthe. Situated in a dynamic urban environment, this new residence reflects the company’s commitment to continuing to build for the future of seniors. The inauguration evening, filled with festivities and conviviality, offered guests the opportunity to celebrate the joy of being together!

A fun and festive Inauguration

It’s been over three months since Cibèle first opened its doors. This Saint-Hyacinthe residential complex, situated on Boulevard Casavant West and Boulevard Laframboise, really has it all.

With its ideal location, easy access to numerous amenities, beautiful common areas and modern apartments, Cibèle is truly a standout. And let’s not forget its caring staff and amazing atmosphere! The inauguration party on January 30th was the perfect reflection of this warm and welcoming vibe, which is perfectly in line with the community’s residents.

This classy event brought together dignitaries such as Simon-Pierre Savard-Tremblay, Federal Member of Parliament for Saint-Hyacinthe–Bagot; André Beauregard, Mayor of Saint-Hyacinthe; Guylain Coulombe, city councillor for the Saint-Thomas-d’Aquin district (municipality of Saint-Hyacinthe), Dominic Lepage, political attaché and representative of Chantal Soucy, MNA for Saint-Hyacinthe; and Alain Champagne, President and CEO of Le Groupe Maurice, accompanied by several of his vice-presidents.

That evening, residents and guests had the opportunity to enjoy a delicious dinner cocktail and listen to several inspiring speeches. The General Manager of Cibèle took this moment to reflect on the residence’s first few months:

“It’s a joy to be here at Cibèle. Every resident I meet tells me how happy they are with their choice and how good they feel here… at home.

The activities and staff are universally appreciated. The quality of the meals and service too. The beauty of it all is that this is just the beginning!

Three months ago, nobody knew each other. Today, you’re living together, exchanging stories and participating in all sorts of activities and celebrations.

Your safety and well-being are at the heart of our concerns. We’ll do everything in our power to ensure your personal growth and make sure it lasts and lasts.” – Benoît Bouchard.

After the speeches, the Jozzy trio took to the stage and got everyone moving with their infectious beats, kicking off a fun night of dancing. Many residents, guests and staff members couldn’t resist showing off their best moves on the dance floor!

What the residents thought

The inauguration evening was a real highlight. When asked about their new home, the residents couldn’t stop raving about it. Their feedback was genuine and overflowing with joy.

“The weekly meetings that Mr. Bouchard organized allowed me to meet some truly lovely people. Today, I regularly take walks and can chat with people I know. I’m extremely happy here.

When I go to the dining room for meals, it’s absolutely delicious! I’m amazed at all the experiences available here. There’s something to do every day and I love it. The staff here are all incredibly kind.” – Marie d’Amours.

“I arrived in Saint-Hyacinthe in 1969. I love this city and have many friends and acquaintances here. After 45 years in the hairdressing business, you get to know a lot of people! Today, I’m living at Cibèle and I’m absolutely delighted. Thanks to all the nearby shops, I do almost all my shopping on foot. We couldn’t be better located.” – Lise Caouette-Beaulieu.

“When I reflect on my life at Cibèle, ‘comfort’ is the word that instantly comes to mind. The environment, staff and exceptional services provide me with utter serenity, empowering me to live life with pride. This pride inspires me to pursue new endeavors and share life’s simple yet profound joys. Thank you, life; thank you, Cibèle!” – Pauline Lessard.

With this inauguration, an exciting new chapter begins for Cibèle and its residents. We’re excited to see how this beautiful 14-story complex will bring people together, offering a warm, welcoming and vibrant space for everyone to flourish.
