is a card game traditionally played by four players in two teams of two. The purpose of canasta is to total at least 5 000 points by succeeding in cumulating and posing similar cards.

Calling all! The kahoot quiz is an interactive quiz, or in other words, a competition between all GM residences. The theme of the quiz this time is: singers from the 1940s to 1980s. The more of us at the cinema, the greater our chances of finding the right answer quickly. At the last Kahoot quiz, we came 7th out of 36 residences! I need you and your brainpower! I'm calling on all music lovers, members of the choir, Chantons en choeur, musicians, dancers, UTA and quiz participants, the curious, available residents; I'll be waiting for you at the cinema!

This course offers a variety of activities in shallow water that promotes balances, flexibility and relaxation through muscular work. For this course, it is not necessary to know how to swim or even float.

It is with great pleasure that I will be attending SEVA on Wednesdays from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m., starting June 21, 2023.

The 500 is a 4-player, 4-player, 2-player lift game. The partners sit in front of each other. We use a set of 43 cards (a deck of 52 cards, plus a joker, from which we remove the 2, 3 and two 4 black).

This meeting is for anyone who has creative ideas, or who is good with their hands and wants to get involved in creating and designing decorations to add fun and atmosphere in the residence for holidays, monthly dinners and any spontaneous events!

November's party will be a special one! A little background: Sylvain, our director, had the chance to meet artist André Desjardins two years ago, at the Amélie Champagne classic, when his work “L'envol” was auctioned off. Last summer, at the same classic, André was there again, this time with “Parfois, je rêve d'arrêter le temps”. This sculpture immediately caught his eye, as he had seen it in Sevä's grand salon. This magnificent work is described by the artist as an invitation to be present, to take time. A figure, a woman, sits on a hoop, face turned towards the sky and all possibilities. The hoop is like a clock from which everything has been ripped out: its inner mechanism, its hands, its numbers. All that's left is the frame. The hoop is also like a window on life and all the great and beautiful things it has to offer.

After a short discussion, Mr. Luc Maurice decided to donate the sculpture to Sevä.

The sculpture will be unveiled on November 20.

Mr. Alain Champagne, President of Groupe Maurice; André Desjardins, artist sculptor and other members of management will be present for the occasion.

4:00 pm: Cocktail reception in the lounge, meeting with the artist and unveiling.

4:15 p.m.: Opening of the dining room

4:45pm: Words from the artist in the dining room

5:00 p.m.: Evening begins

All residents, including those with meal packages, must register at reception to take part in the event so that we can set up tables of 8. Visitors are not accepted. Dinner and musical evening. Price: one coupon or meal package. Formula: bring your own wine. You have until November 13 at 5 p.m. to cancel your reservation. The next party of the month will be on December 18!
